Data Migration
Data migration defines the scope and "Critical Path" of any social care case management and finance system replacement project.
We are unique because ICT Revolutions have designed, tested and refined a rigorous, repeatable end to end approach to social care data migration. Our approach incorporates effective and agile data migration governance requirements as well as technical solutions to data quality, data security and data protection considerations.
Some of our customers require leadership of their data migration programme, others require scope and definition work to underpin their in house migration team programme and some customers require that the entire data migration workstream is managed and delivered by ICT Revolutions. We can provide some or all of the services described.
Business Process Redesign
Adults and children's social care are a complex set of practice, systems and commissioning activities. The best system implementations occur when they are practice led, and best practice is encapsulated into system design. It does not matter whether this is a system which has been in operation for many years or for a brand new system as the requirement is the same. The ICT systems should reflect the design insights of those who have to use them and those who have to manage them.
ICT Revolutions has seen many implementations of new systems take place where simply returning the existing system to a best practice model will re inspire staff to rely on their social work skills.
At ICT Revolutions we take Business Process Redesign to be the fusion of the leadership's vision, values and transformation ideals, documented and grounded within the existing or replacement system. We work to ensure that all the system functionality available is exploited so that social care staff and their managers spend the least amount of time pressing buttons and more time documenting service users journeys effectively and measurably.
Configuration & Testing
Social Care Case Management systems increasingly come with more and more locally configured functionality. ICT Revolutions can provide advice, support and resource to design, build and deliver bespoke and innovative locally configured solutions to your Case Management Systems. The services we offer include:
Forms designing and building
Excel integration within forms
Building RTF outputs
Custom Workflow designing and building
Re-configuring and streamlining System and Pathway settings
Users, Department and Permissions configuration
It is essential, whether implementing an all new Case Management System or just small piece of new functionality, that every scenario is considered and comprehensively tested. ICT Revolutions can provide a range of Testing services including:
Test planning
UAT tester training courses
Writing scripts and preparing test cases
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support
Test Managers
Classroom & Virtual Training
It does not matter how well the data migration, business process redesign and testing has been delivered, unless end users can access high quality training then systems implementation projects will not be a success. Training enables users to take full advantage of the new systems from the point that they go-live.
ICT Revolutions we can offer a wide range of training services including:
Development of a bespoke training needs analysis, strategy and plan
Production of bespoke classroom training materials and user guides
Setup and configuration of training environments
Full end-user classroom and virtual training (1:1 for staff with additional needs)
Knowledge Transfer based courses for your internal training staff
ContrOCC Finance & additional module training e.g. workspaces, custom workflows
E-Learning
ICT Revolutions can also develop bespoke e-learning modules based around your specific system configuration, business processes, form content and workflows.
Examples of bespoke courses that have been developed for past customers are:

Implementation Reviews
ICT Revolutions have a wealth of experience in performing rapid reviews of software implementations midway through the delivery phase of Programmes. The purpose of our reviews is to provide the customer with an overview of current progress and a series of recommendations to ensure that an effective and efficient project management process is maintained to meet the business requirements.
We conduct our reviews through a series of site-visits and semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders and work stream leads from the Programme.
We present our findings and recommendations in a report that is designed to assist the customer to make decisions about the next steps to achieve the aims of the Programme.
Performance Management
ICT Revolutions provide a range of services to support effective performance management. These include specification and report writing services, performance management frameworks, through to strategic performance management support.
In addition, we work alongside our sister company www.publicsectorintelligence.co.uk who have developed a performance management dashboard for use with LCS, in partnership with Liquidlogic.
Legacy Data Archiving
ICT Revolutions have developed robust methodologies for creating a data archive of social care and finance legacy data that do not rely on the legacy supplier(s) databases or schema so that our customers do not face ongoing licensing and maintenance cost for their legacy systems. Instead they have access to a secure, internally hosted and searchable solution where authorised end users are presented legacy data in a readable format (this may or may not include the contents of a document management system archive).
End User Systems Support
ICT Revolutions can ensure that all end users remain supported until they are confident and competent with the new systems. This includes staff who may have additional needs, managers and senior managers from the organisation as well as hospital teams and public sector partners who share the same systems. Our philosophy is "nobody is left behind".
Our work can take the form of small workshops, 1-1 training courses, or whole team/service floorwalking.
Systems Health Checks
Any social care case management or finance system will benefit from periodic tuning. ICT Revolutions have assisted Local Authority Children's Services to go from Ofsted good to outstanding, Signs of Safety and other social work methodology implementations. In adults social care, we have designed alternatives to a RAS and assisted our customers to make millions of pounds worth of transactional savings.
ICT Revolutions can carry out a health check of either part of a system, a particular workflow or service area or the entire system from end to end and make detailed recommendations about aligning social work practice to system use. Whilst we understand ICT and the technical solutions, our focus remains achieving best practice made visible through efficient and straightforward system recording.
